We started life as MRE Motorsports building shifter kart engines in the early Nineties.  The rules were few, the engines were cool, and we discovered a need for purpose built intakes and reed valves for kart engines.  They were hand built in limited quantities for our in house and customer race engines.  Fast forward two decades and the rules were many, the engines were lame, the two stroke was on life support in most forms of racing, and there seemed little need for custom designed and built parts.

Until Outlaw Kart Racing happened.  While it has been around for years, we didn’t discover it until a trip to Millbridge Speedway in 2016.  The rules were few, the engines were cool, and we discovered a need for purpose built intakes and reed valves for kart engines.  The two stroke was alive and well.

The difference is that with today's technology we are able to take a product from idea, to design, to prototype, to the dinner table in a ten second lap.  In addition to our product line, we can also take on custom projects.
